Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our successful department. The appointee will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary CAMHS colleagues to deliver effective, efficient, and evidence-based care to children, young people, and families in the field of adolescent mental health.
Key Responsibilities:- Work flexibly with The Darwin Centre for three days a week and the home treatment team two days a week, focusing on supporting the discharge of patients.
- Support the home treatment team consultant with medical monitoring of patients in the HTT.
- Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment of children and young people admitted to the Darwin Centre and the Home Treatment Team.
- Work alongside team colleagues to address any safeguarding needs that arise in accordance with local and national best practice standards.
- Comply with the Trust's governance policy, including participating in supervision, clinical audit, annual appraisal, and re-validation with the General Medical Council.
- Participate in clinical governance activities associated with patient care and the smooth running of the service, including prescription management, care planning documentation, and the collection of routine data and outcome monitoring as specified by the Directorate Management Team.

- AC status and be under S12
