Job Opportunity: Commercial and Employment Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Employment Lawyer to join our dynamic team at People2.0. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on employment law and commercial matters to our internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with legal obligations in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and advise through meetings, documents, presentations, and webinars.
  • Oversee and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals.
  • Assist with legal-related matters for our group of companies operating in the flexible working sector.
  • Build personal compliance knowledge to provide advisory support to internal and external business functions.
  • Train and educate internal staff on sub-regional legal, contract, and regulatory matters.
  • Monitor legal practices and developments, and legislative changes.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience drafting and negotiating labor law contracts, MSAs, and employment documents, with expertise in compliance and regulatory laws.
  • Strong leadership, influencing skills, and ability to provide clear direction to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage a varied workload and prioritize tasks to meet structured deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain compliance elements to business and clients.
  • Enthusiasm to develop expertise in sub-regional labor, contract, and compliance matters.
  • Willingness to learn sub-regional data protection rules and help implement related policies and procedures.
  • Collaborative approach, working with diverse teams across divisions and regions, fostering a supportive environment.
  • Motivation to build, lead, and develop a team, with a results-driven mindset and strong sense of accountability.

What We Offer:

  • Salary up to £49,000 depending on experience
