We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Employment Lawyer to join our dynamic team at People2.0. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain compliance processes to ensure our businesses operate within legal obligations in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders and provide expert advice through meetings, documents, presentations, and webinars.
- Oversee and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals.
- Assist our group of companies with legal matters related to their businesses.
- Develop and maintain personal compliance knowledge to provide advisory services to internal and external business functions.
- Train and educate internal staff on sub-regional legal, contract, and regulatory matters.
- Monitor legal practices and developments, and legislative changes.
- Attend meetings to support employee support teams with challenging contractor issues.
- 2-3 years' experience drafting and negotiating labor law contracts, MSAs, and employment documents, with expertise in compliance and regulatory laws.
- Strong leadership, influencing skills, and ability to provide clear direction to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage a varied workload and prioritize tasks to meet structured deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain compliance elements to business and clients.
- Enthusiasm to develop expertise in sub-regional labor, contract, and compliance matters.
- Willingness to learn sub-regional data protection rules and help implement related policies and procedures.
- Collaborative approach, working with diverse teams across divisions and regions, fostering a supportive environment.
- Motivation to build, lead, and develop a team, with a results-driven mindset and strong sense of accountability.
- Salary up to £49,000 depending on experience.
