Lead Clinical Educator

This is a key role for a Clinical Nurse Specialist or equivalent to lead the Education and Organisational Development team at St Catherine's Hospice. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising and delivering clinical and non-clinical education, training and organisational development across the Hospice, ensuring compliance with national legislation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality training programmes for Hospice staff and volunteers
  • Build strong links with external education providers to broaden the reach of the Hospice education and training offer
  • Work with the Hospice Medical Director and Higher Education institutions to deliver modules and develop learning opportunities for all Hospice colleagues
  • Manage the Education and Organisational Development team to deliver high-quality training both internally and externally
  • Develop and update educational policies to reflect local and national policy

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of leading education and training teams
  • Strong understanding of national legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external education providers and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
