Salary: £100,000 plus benefits

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Infrastructure Procurement Lead to join our team in Cumbria. As a key member of our infrastructure development programme, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies aligned with our long-term investment plans.

About the Role:

  • Develop strategic procurement solutions for complex infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver project objectives
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement and contract strategies
  • Lead a team of professionals in providing commercial and supply chain support
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance
  • Manage contract closure activities, including final pricing negotiations
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain stakeholder relationships

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in infrastructure procurement, preferably in construction
  • Detailed knowledge of JCT and NEC Construction contracts
  • Experience in management and leadership, with MCIPS and MRICS qualifications
  • Familiarity with public sector environments is advantageous
