Job Title: Strategic Procurement Lead
Location: Preston and surrounding areas in North West England.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Lead to join our commercial team, focusing on developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and implementation of commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Overseeing tender preparation, including subcontract documentation, pricing schemes, negotiation, and supplier vetting.
- Managing subcontract order documentation, procurement, valuation, payments, and site coordination when necessary.
- Conducting regular cost and value reconciliation, updating our systems, and completing monthly reports with stakeholders.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or home improvement industry.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) certification.
- APM Practitioner Diploma.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
