About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works, and ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager in the management and delivery of project works, including site operations, quality control, and health and safety.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including designers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure project delivery.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with site teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in site management or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire site teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and locations.
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Scaffold inspection qualifications, or equivalent.
