About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Water Services team, supporting our expanding workload with key clients in the water industry. This role offers a flexible base location, including home and office working, or a mixture of both as desired.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects in terms of scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management for projects up to £500k revenue.
  • Effectively control and manage project change, ensuring compliance with quality management systems.
  • Deliver projects to the As-Sold financial metrics or better, driving innovation and efficiencies throughout the project delivery process.
  • Assess technical and commercial risk of projects during the sales process, creating and reviewing proposals and costings for new projects.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to project teams in the coordination and delivery of multi-disciplinary appraisals and designs.
  • Organize and chair professional client meetings, balancing the needs of multiple projects and teams.
  • Line Manager responsibilities for junior PMs, ensuring the development and growth of junior team members.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in Project Management and/or an engineering discipline.
  • Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) or Geography discipline.
  • Ability to work under general supervision to plan, execute, monitor, and control projects.
  • Leadership skills to manage small project teams and create positive team interactions.
  • Motivated to manage and develop a career in the water industry.
  • Knowledge of programme management using Microsoft Project or other suitable software.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Collaborative and inclusive individual who can effectively manage small to medium project teams.
  • Liaison with internal and external clients to develop relationships across the business.
  • Excellent communicator with colleagues, clients, joint venture partners, and stakeholders.
