Job Overview

Austin Fraser is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their dynamic Finance Department. This role offers the ideal opportunity for an AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified professional to develop their career in a challenging and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee month-end procedures and prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage payroll postings, reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts, and conduct monthly bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Sustain the Fixed Asset Register, manage depreciation, additions, and disposals, and oversee financial transactions for investment properties.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a Finance department, with a strong background in statutory accounts preparation and familiarity with Sage 200.
  • AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with a minimum grade C in Maths and English GCSEs.
  • Proactive, able to cope under pressure, and flexible in work approach, with excellent IT skills and confidence in using Microsoft Office products.
