We are seeking an experienced Nursing Team Lead to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The estimated salary for this role is £53,000 - £63,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This new post is funded by the Cancer Alliance to provide a smooth, patient-centred pathway for patients in high-risk communities newly identified at risk of liver disease and potentially liver cancer.

**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with community services and all members of the extended multi-disciplinary team to ensure excellent coordination and management of the Fibro-scan Pathway.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead for the Fibro-scan team and continue to develop this specialist diagnostic service based in both primary and secondary care as part of the Hepatology Specialist services.
  • After training, the post holder will be responsible for clinical interactions with patients in which screening for early liver disease will be undertaken and lifestyle interventions delivered.
  • Throughout the duration of the role, training in both underlying principles of disease and practical skills will be offered to the role holder.

The post holder must have experience of leadership within nursing and have the ability to lead a team. Must have excellent clinical knowledge in this field of nursing.
