About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement to join our team at Diligenta. As a key member of our commercial function, you will be responsible for managing and leading the procurement process, developing strategic sourcing plans, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the procurement function, ensuring effective commercial aspects are managed for suppliers and clients.
  • Develop strategic sourcing plans, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure procured services meet regulatory standards and client contract obligations.
  • Provide valued trusted advice on an ongoing basis to realise long-term profitability.
  • Manage and maintain key high-level reports to give senior management an oversight of key contracts.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing legislation impacting commercial elements within Diligenta.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in outsourcing and financial services, particularly in managing large client contracts in complex settings.
  • Strategic leadership experience, preferably in multi-site or matrix organisations.
  • Demonstrated success in procurement, including identifying and driving performance improvement opportunities.
  • Over 10 years of experience in commercial negotiations, with effective communication and influencing skills.
  • Certification or strong knowledge of procurement best practices, preferably CIPD.
