Head of Procurement

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to join our team at Diligenta. As a key member of our commercial function, you will be responsible for managing and leading the Procurement function, overseeing and optimizing the procurement process, developing strategic sourcing plans, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the Procurement function, ensuring effective commercial aspects are managed.
- Oversee and optimize the procurement process, developing strategic sourcing plans.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships, ensuring procured services meet regulatory standards and client contract obligations.
- Provide valued trusted advice on an ongoing basis to realize long-term profitability.
- Manage and maintain key high-level reports, giving senior management an oversight of key contracts.
- Stay up-to-date with changing legislation impacting commercial elements within Diligenta.
Requirements:
- Experience working in an outsourced environment or with outsourcing vendors, particularly within financial services.
- Proven experience operating at a strategic level, preferably in multi-site or Matrix organizations.
- Demonstrated success in procurement, including the ability to identify and drive performance improvement opportunities.
- Over 10 years of experience in commercial negotiations, with effective communication and influencing skills.
- CIPD certification or strong knowledge of procurement best practices.
