A newly created role for an experienced Procurement Category Manager to shape and embed best practice across Hardware, Software, and associated IT spend.
This position enjoys high levels of executive support and stakeholder buy-in, with a need to be in the Cambridgeshire head office 1-2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and embed category strategies across major categories of spend.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and supplier management strategies and plans within these categories.
- Manage procurement processes and strategic supplier relationships, rolling out commercial and contract management standards across the organisation.
With a broad range of stakeholders to manage, you will develop strong working relationships and drive collaborative ways of working.
To succeed in this autonomous role, you will have demonstrable procurement experience across an IT Category portfolio and be well-versed in Category Management principles.
With outstanding communication and influencing skills, you will be adept at securing buy-in at all levels of an organisation with a positive and self-motivated approach to your work.
