About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Professional to join our team at Diligenta, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services. As Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for leading our procurement function, overseeing and optimizing the procurement process, and developing strategic sourcing plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the Procurement function, ensuring effective commercial aspects are managed with suppliers and clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure procured services meet regulatory standards and match client contract obligations.
  • Provide valued trusted advice on commercial matters, with a focus on realizing long-term profitability.
  • Manage and maintain key high-level reports, providing senior management with an overview of key contracts.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement, with a strong background in commercial negotiations and strategic leadership.
  • Experience working in an outsourced environment or with outsourcing vendors, particularly within financial services.
  • Certification or strong knowledge of procurement best practices, such as CIPD (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply).
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal resources.
