Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Headteacher (Behaviour) to join our dynamic team at Hays Specialist Recruitment - Education. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to make a significant impact on our school community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Behaviour Management: Develop and implement effective behaviour policies and strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Staff Development: Provide guidance and support to teaching and support staff on behaviour management, delivering training sessions and workshops to enhance their skills.
  • Student Support: Work closely with students to understand and address behavioural issues, implementing intervention strategies for those with challenging behaviour.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support student behaviour and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree, excellent understanding of current educational policies and practices related to behaviour management.
