We are seeking a skilled Clinical Needs Assessor to join our team at EngineeringUK, where you will play a crucial role in conducting health and disability assessments for individuals with long-term physical or mental health conditions. As a Clinical Needs Assessor, your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Conducting comprehensive health and disability assessments to understand each individual's unique needs and abilities.
  • Evaluating the impact of their condition on their daily life and ability to perform everyday tasks, such as personal care, mobility, and communication.
  • Preparing detailed reports and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions, outlining the individual's functional capacity and potential for work-related activities.

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, while also contributing to the continued improvement and service excellence of our health assessment services in the UK. To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • A minimum of 12 months' post-registration experience as an NMC registered nurse or HCPC paramedic, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist in the UK.
  • Experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong critical analysis and logical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical information and make informed decisions.

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £42,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
