Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Professional to join their dynamic primary school team from January 2025. This full-time role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the SEN Unit, supporting pupils with complex needs, and developing tailored learning strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the SEN Unit's daily operations, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for pupils.
  • Work closely with pupils who have complex needs, fostering their development and well-being through targeted support.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans, incorporating evidence-based strategies and interventions.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, making adaptations to support plans as needed.
Requirements:
  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with complex needs.
  • A strong understanding of strategies and interventions for supporting SEN pupils.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply.
