Role Summary:

As a seasoned Account Director at Refinery29, you will be responsible for leading client relationships and driving strategic marketing initiatives. You will work closely with our client services team to develop and execute marketing programs that deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships to drive business growth and strategic partnerships.
  • Provide expert knowledge of client businesses to anticipate and address marketing opportunities and challenges.
  • Lead strategic input to improve creative products and effectively sell Refinery29's services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure agency and client strategies are aligned and objectives are met.
  • Manage direct reports, providing coaching and guidance to drive account success and team growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow revenue streams.
  • Display strong financial management skills to drive account profitability.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in account management within advertising.
  • Proven track record of managing seven-figure accounts and integrated programs.
  • Expertise in shaping strategic and creative proposals that drive impactful marketing programs.
  • Mentorship and leadership skills to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong work ethic, big personality, and excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for business, marketing, and media.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on global accounts, particularly in the alcohol category.
  • Additional language skills are a bonus.
