We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient-centered care in a safe clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care, hygiene, and sanitary needs, ensuring privacy and dignity is maintained.
- Support patients with safe mobilization and assist with skin and pressure area care to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in therapeutic recreational activities and support patients in achieving their goals.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of kindness, courage, and respect.
Requirements
- At least six months of experience in a care setting.
- Commitment to undertaking and successfully completing available training and education once in post.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including days and nights, and be part of a dynamic team.
