About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tendering Engineer to join our dynamic team at Actemium Automation Nottingham. As a key member of our project lifecycle, you will play a crucial role in creating new tenders, direct sourcing, and collaborating with Project Managers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit tenders by collaborating with our sales and engineering teams to create competitive and accurate tender proposals.
  • Analyze project requirements, evaluate costs, and provide detailed estimates.
  • Understand client specifications and translate them into effective technical proposals.
  • Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Engage with clients during the tender process, addressing queries and ensuring clarity.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Hold a degree in Electrical or a related field.
  • Have proven experience in tendering, preferably in automation, but open to other engineering projects.
  • Have a strong understanding of Automation, particularly Allen Bradley and Siemens industrial Control Systems.
  • Be detail-oriented, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and create precise proposals.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to take on new skills and knowledge.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000, dependent on experience.
  • 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.

  • Hybrid working options, following completion of the probationary period.
