About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tendering Engineer to join our dynamic team at Actemium Automation Nottingham. As a key member of our project lifecycle, you will play a crucial role in creating new tenders, direct sourcing, and collaborating with our sales and engineering teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Preparing and submitting tenders: Collaborate with our sales and engineering teams to create competitive and accurate tender proposals.
  • Cost estimation: Analyze project requirements, evaluate costs, and provide detailed estimates.
  • Technical understanding: Understand client specifications and translate them into effective technical proposals.
  • Risk assessment: Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Client communication: Engage with clients during the tender process, addressing queries and ensuring clarity.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Engineering background: degree in Electrical or related field
  • Proven experience in tendering, preferably in automation however open to other engineering projects
  • Understanding of Automation in particular, Allen Bradley and Siemens industrial Control Systems
  • Attention to detail: ability to analysis complex requirements and create precise proposals
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to take on new skills & knowledge
What We Offer
  • Base salary between £50,000 - £60,000 (experience dependent)
