Job Title: Technical Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Hardware Engineer to join our team at Microlise, a leading provider of telematics solutions. As a Technical Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of our product portfolio into our customers' assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and maintain our telematics products at customer sites
  • Conduct survey visits to identify suitable solutions for customers
  • Perform quality assurance visits to ensure our products meet the highest standards
  • Manage inventory and maintain the upkeep and safety of your vehicle and tools
  • Liaise with customers at all levels to provide exceptional support
  • Collaborate with peers and contractor resources to achieve team goals
  • Ensure accurate and professional administration
  • Adhere to internal processes and procedures
  • Report on statistical information as required

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with expertise in auto electrics and/or telematics
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules
  • Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and ability to interpret them
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, solve problems independently, and adhere to agreed processes
  • Valid passport for travel
