About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Telematics Engineer to join our team at Microlise. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to our customers across the Reading area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and maintain our telematics product suite at customer sites
  • Conduct surveys to identify suitable solutions for customers
  • Perform quality assurance visits to ensure our products meet the highest standards
  • Manage inventory and maintain the upkeep and safety of your vehicle and tools
  • Liaise with customers at all levels to provide exceptional support and service
  • Collaborate with peers and contractor resources to achieve team goals
  • Ensure accurate and professional administration and reporting
  • Adhere to internal processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably in auto electrics and/or telematics
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules
  • Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and ability to interpret them
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional approach
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and solve problems independently
  • Valid passport for travel
