We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to join our team as a centre manager for a fixed term period. This full-time role will provide the successful candidate with a rare opportunity to step into a leadership position and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families.

Role Overview

The centre manager will be responsible for leading a team of educators to deliver best practice childcare services that meet the needs of children and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Te Whāriki and the ability to develop and implement quality education programs that promote child development and well-being.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field and current teacher registration/certification
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality childcare services
  • Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations, and Code of Ethics
  • A comprehensive understanding of how to maintain and grow occupancy levels
  • Innovative, resilient, committed, passionate, and enthusiastic
