About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Childcare Manager to lead our team of support staff in providing high-quality care and support to young people. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising shifts, making decisions, and following policies and procedures in line with current legislation.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a children's home and hold a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People. You will also be expected to work early, late, and night shifts on a rota basis, including sleepovers. A full UK driving license is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of support staff to ensure young people receive a complete person-centred care service.
  • Provide direct high-quality care and support to young people.
  • Lead shifts, make decisions, and follow policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
  • Manage and take direct responsibility for staff performance, training, and support.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include flexible working hours, a staff loyalty scheme, and a range of discounts and rewards through our Blue Light Card.
