About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Community Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our delivery network, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages to our customers across Alston and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses within your designated area
  • Operate a manual driving vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Build strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly
Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work varying shifts including weekends
What We Offer
  • Competitive monthly salary: £12,754 per annum (equivalent to £12.54 per hour)
  • Overtime paid at 1.25 times the normal hourly rate
  • 22.5 days annual leave, rising with length of service (pro-rata)
  • Full uniform provided
  • Company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates
