As a Culinary Maestro, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite culinary experiences that delight our discerning guests and establish The Peninsula London as a premier culinary destination.

A salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role, which requires a highly skilled and experienced professional who can bring innovation and creativity to our kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Job Description:

  • Promote The Peninsula London as a premier culinary destination by creating outstanding guest experiences through culinary expertise and passion for excellence.
  • Produce all food required by the supervisor to the highest standard, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a culture that aligns with The Peninsula London's mission, vision, values, and core principles.
  • Attend scheduled training and hotel activities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Always follow technical worksheets and recipes as assigned, while continuously improving menu offerings.
  • Ensure physical and environmental hygiene is maintained in accordance with HACCP standards.
  • Keep kitchen equipment in pristine condition to maximize its operating life.
  • Embody the Food and Beverage team's vision, striving to achieve business goals and marketing objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good British cuisine experience and understanding of current culinary trends and classics.
  • Experience of a similar role in a fine dining restaurant or luxury 5* hotel.
  • Previous relevant culinary qualifications or certifications and appetite to learn.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
  • Good communication skills, flexibility, and capability of working under pressure.
