We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Management Specialist to join our team in the pharmaceutical industry. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, reliable, evidence-based, customer-focused, and consistent occupational health service across the UK GSK sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health, with experience in managing teams and overseeing clinical service delivery. You will be accountable for leading important strategic and operational matters and making key decisions for the UK function and global engagement as required.

This role requires excellent leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for occupational health, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities:*

  • Deliver a high-quality, reliable, evidence-based, customer-focused, and consistent occupational health service across the UK GSK sites.
  • Lead on important strategic and operational matters and make key decisions for the UK function and global engagement as required.
  • Accountable for accountability and oversight of all UK Occupational Health policies and processes.
  • Responsible for clinical service delivery and management of the OH team across the UK.
  • Responsible for delivery on Quality and Governance (Q&G) within the UK Occupational Health Services at GSK.
  • Manage and deliver fully on aligning to and remaining accredited with the Faculty of Occupational Medicine's industry standard of Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Services (SEQOHS).

**Requirements:**

  • Registered Nurse, NMC, Part 3.
  • Post-graduate Occupational Health qualification.
  • MSc/BSc in Occupational Health +/- safety management or related health studies.
  • Relevant clinical and management expertise required to lead and supervise staff and assess the health needs of the business.
  • Previous management experience essential.
  • Coaching and staff supervisory experience.
  • Customer interface – such as training/presenting relevant health data.
  • Skilled at high-level audit on clinical performance and service delivery.
  • The role requires leadership accountability and management of teams to ensure the OH Function delivers innovation, performance & trust.
  • The individual will be required to be a strategic lead providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Needs to communicate, engage, influence, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Excellent and wide-ranging level of IT knowledge, with a strong ability to be agile in the IT space embracing innovative technology.

**Location:** This role is based at our clients site but can be in either Stevenage, Ware, Worthing, Barnard Castle, or Montrose.

**Estimated Salary Range:** £60,000 - £90,000 per annum (£29.84 - £44.26 per hour)
