Job Summary

The successful candidate will support the solicitors in managing residential property transactions from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in a residential conveyancing role and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and re-mortgages.
  • Draft legal documents, including missives, dispositions, and securities.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
  • Prepare documentation for settlement and ensure all legal requirements are met.
  • Manage case files and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Scottish property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with legal software and case management systems.
