Analytical Development Scientist

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Analytical Chemist to join our top-tier pharmaceutical business, supporting cutting-edge pharmaceutical research and development.
As an Analytical Development Scientist, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine analysis, focused on oligonucleotide, small & large peptide drug products, using a range of modern and traditional analytical techniques, including HPLC.
You will also be responsible for reviewing analytical data, developing and validating methods, and mentoring junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate analytical methods for oligonucleotide and peptide drug products
- Perform routine and non-routine analysis using HPLC and other analytical techniques
- Review and interpret analytical data
- Mentor junior colleagues in analytical techniques and method development
- Stay up-to-date with cGMP regulations and ensure compliance in all aspects of analytical work
Requirements:
- Degree in Organic Chemistry or closely related subject
- Experience with relevant analytical techniques (HPLC, Mass Spectrometry)
- Experience with method development and validation
- Exposure to cGMP regulations
- Strong communication and organization skills
