Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our Construction team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based on sites in South Wales and the South-West, working on various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of Groundworks, including excavation, drainage, and ducting.
  • Dig footings while demonstrating an understanding of plans and datum.
  • Conduct externals and finishing work, such as slabbing, kerbing, and paving.
  • Carry out concreting tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform general labouring duties.
  • Maintain company property and equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Capacity to think ahead and consider the job in hand.
  • Proficiency in using power tools.
  • Understanding and reading of drawings.
  • Self-motivation, a willingness to learn, and a conscientious attitude.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
