Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our Construction team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based on sites in South Wales and the South-West, working on various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of Groundworks, including excavation, drainage, and ducting.
- Dig footings while demonstrating an understanding of plans and datum.
- Conduct externals and finishing work, such as slabbing, kerbing, and paving.
- Carry out concreting tasks.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform general labouring duties.
- Maintain company property and equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Capacity to think ahead and consider the job in hand.
- Proficiency in using power tools.
- Understanding and reading of drawings.
- Self-motivation, a willingness to learn, and a conscientious attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality.
