The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust seeks a highly skilled Hospital Maintenance Specialist to join their Estates and Facilities teams. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the hospital buildings and grounds are well-maintained, with a focus on repairs, regular maintenance, and renovations as needed.

This position involves collaborating with various teams within the trust to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of building systems, including heating, power, and ventilation, as well as experience with mechanical and electrical work.

As a Hospital Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing hospital buildings and equipment
  • Coordinating with other teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues
