Job Description

Job Title: Asset Planning Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Asset Planning Analyst to join our team at Transport for London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Asset Management Information System (AMIS) and data within London Trams, ensuring alignment of plans and schedules at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Management: Develop and implement asset management strategies to ensure the safe and efficient operation of London's tramways.
  • AMIS Management: Manage the AMIS system, including data input, documentation, and reporting to meet London Trams' Fleet & Depot maintenance requirements.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver AMIS training to LT Fleet & Depot staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively use the system.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Produce weekly and periodic scheduled asset planning reports for weekly planning meetings, and assist in developing annual asset maintenance plans for LT Fleet & Depot Service Delivery Teams.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with LT Fleet & Depot service Teams/Managers to ensure accurate and complete asset data, and provide timely maintenance management reports to aid Planning and Performance decision making.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and Experience: Proven experience in asset planning processes and reporting tools, asset maintenance systems, and asset data management within an engineering environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to develop relationships within the business, and experience with asset management systems and asset data.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 per annum.
  • Free Travel: Free travel on the TfL network.
  • Annual Leave: 30 days annual leave plus public and bank holidays.
  • Hybrid Working: Hybrid working approach, with a balance of time split between the Depot/Office and home.
