Company Overview

Orbis is a leading insurance and asset management company based in London, seeking an experienced Investment Data Analyst to join their Data Office team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Investment Data Analyst to enhance investment data analysis, improve data quality, and support Data Governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Investment business stakeholders to investigate, analyze, and remediate data issues.
  • Lead and participate in Data Governance workshops, creating reports and dashboards to track progress.
  • Support Data Owners, Stewards, and Custodians in ensuring effective data management.
  • Review and update data policies and standards within the Data Governance framework.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Investment Data Analyst, preferably within financial services.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Data Management tools, MS Excel, Power BI, and Data Quality (DQ) analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income instruments, swaps, derivatives, and associated data.
  • Expertise in handling Market, Pricing, Custodial, and Positional data.
  • Familiarity with Data Governance practices and standards.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets, understand processes, and identify data issues.
  • Experience with modern investment data management technologies.
  • Background in insurance or asset management.
