Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a part-time teacher, you will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule, covering various year groups and locations in the Hillingdon Borough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Covering sickness and absences in schools
  • Teaching all pupils in your class according to the National curriculum
  • Targeting and adapting lessons to meet the specific needs of each child
  • Completing records and assessments as determined by the school's policy
  • Making use of ICT to enhance understanding of tasks and lessons
  • Organizing resources for the subject/area
  • Involve pupils in self and peer assessment
  • Using a variety of teaching and learning styles to ensure high standards of learning, behavior, and progress
  • Creating and building teacher-parent relationships
  • Preparing pupils for the next academic year
  • Liaising with other teachers regarding pupil information and needs
  • Operating within the set policies of the school
Requirements
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience in a variety of age groups
  • A good understanding of the curriculum and behavioral management techniques
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Compassion and IT competence
  • Presentation and professionalism
