Occupational Therapist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Urgent Community Response (UCR) team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse or complex presentations or multi-pathologies.
- Develop and implement individualized management and treatment plans using clinical reasoning skills.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other staff to ensure effective multidisciplinary working.
- Manage patients who may be aggressive or confused, and provide empathetic support in stressful situations.
- Supervise junior staff and participate in the appraisal scheme as an appraiser.
- Provide training and supervision to qualified and unqualified clinical staff.
Person Specification
Essential
- Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification & NHS experience.
- Degree or Equivalent in Physiotherapy or Occupational therapy.
