Specialist Occupational Therapist
Compass Associates is collaborating with a leading provider of specialist care for children in the UK, which specialises in bespoke schools and residential homes. The goal is to provide evidence-based treatments to help tackle issues faced by service users. We are looking for a Junior Occupational Therapist to work between two specialist autism schools for children aged 7 to 17. One school is brand-new and opened in the current term.
The ideal candidate will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, including a Lead Occupational Therapist, Educational Psychologist, Assistant Psychologist, Speech & Language Therapists, Music Therapists, and Counsellors. The role involves managing a caseload of students and working closely with the Lead OT and Head Teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist occupational therapy to children aged 7 to 17.
- Manage a caseload of students and work closely with the multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based treatments and interventions.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children.
