Healthcare Assessment Professional

We are looking for a skilled Healthcare Assessment Professional to join our team at Pearson. As an expert in healthcare assessment, you will play a crucial role in evaluating candidate performance and ensuring overall standards are maintained.
The ideal candidate will have recent relevant experience of the occupation area or sector to at least occupational level 3, gained in the last 5 years or significant experience of the occupation or sector. Additionally, they should be able to assess and report risks, comply with quality assurance/regulatory requirements, and have experience in Digital Imaging within an NHS environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with us at Pearson, contributing to external quality assurance activities undertaken by the Institute for Apprenticeships and technical Education (IFATE). The successful candidate will receive ongoing training and standardisation activities, as well as opportunities for Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
The salary for this position is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate candidate performance in Diagnostic imaging support L3, ensuring overall standards are maintained, following published assessment and grading criteria and procedures.
- Participate in regular training and standardisation activities.
- Maintain and provide evidence of ongoing, relevant CPD.
- Evaluate candidates in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures.
- Follow protocols set out in Pearson's specifications, assessment materials and quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain service-level agreements with regards to responding to EPA planning, operational activities, reports and submissions of assessment outcomes.
- Report all risks and issues encountered during the end-point assessment to Pearson.
- Ensure all EPA reports and assessment evidence are high quality and recorded accurately.
- Support Pearson with any appeals from apprentices, regarding assessment decisions.
- Contribute to external quality assurance activities undertaken by the Institute for Apprenticeships and technical Education (IFATE).
- Recent relevant experience of the occupation area or sector to at least occupational level 3, gained in the last 5 years or significant experience of the occupation or sector.
- Experience of complying with quality assurance/regulatory requirements.
- Experience in Digital Imaging within an NHS environment.
- Ability to assess and report risks.
