Job Title: Children's Residential Care Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Residential Care Team Leader to join our team at Swanton Care & Community Ltd. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of care staff to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide training and supervision to care staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support provided to children and young people.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to safeguarding and child protection.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in childcare or social work, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and staff.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to safeguarding and child protection.
