Director of Advancement

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Advancement to join our team at Bryn Mawr College. As a key member of our advancement team, you will play a critical role in driving philanthropic growth and strategic planning for our educational community.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of a multi-year capital campaign in collaboration with the Head of School and Board of Trustees.
- Grow and cultivate relationships with donors, foundations, and grant-making organizations to secure funding for our educational initiatives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive advancement strategy, including annual and long-term fundraising goals, donor engagement, and stewardship.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the Head of School and Board of Trustees on advancement-related matters.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Grayson Parents' Association and oversee the EITC/OSTC scholarship program.
- A proven track record in fundraising, development, and advancement in independent schools, higher education, or similar nonprofit organizations.
- A Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited university.
- Up-to-date clearances prior to beginning work, including Federal Criminal History, PA State Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Mandated Reporter training, TB test, Act 168, and any additional required clearances.
- An interest in and appreciation for gifted education.
- Relationships and connections within education philanthropy, including foundations, grant-making organizations, and influential individuals, or an established background in building those relationships.
- Experience working with high net worth donors.
