About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to join our Residential Care Home in Carlisle, Cumbria. Our service provides high-quality care and support to residents, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  2. Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage with the community, fostering social connections and a sense of belonging.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery, upholding high standards of quality and safety.
  4. Maintain accurate records and report any concerns, ensuring transparent communication and effective decision-making.
  5. Support residents with daily living tasks, promoting their autonomy and dignity.
  6. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, providing emotional support and guidance when needed.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • A caring and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect residents' autonomy.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
