Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at Bishopsmead Lodge Care Home. As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents while providing leadership and support to the nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Deputy Manager in the daily management of the care home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and care standards.
  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team, fostering a culture of high-quality care and support.
  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents in collaboration with the care team.
  • Work independently and make clinical decisions without supervision during day shifts.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident health and wellbeing, responding to changes as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to patient care and medication administration.
  • Support and mentor junior staff, promoting their professional development.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC pin number.
  • Minimum of three years' experience as a Clinical Deputy Manager or in a similar role within a nursing home.
  • Strong understanding of medication management and clinical protocols.
