Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at Bishopsmead Lodge Care Home in Bristol. As a Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in leading the home and a team of employees to deliver outstanding levels of care to all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the team to deliver special experiences to residents, promoting choice and independence.
  • Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience.
  • Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies and develop an excellent reputation.
  • Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the resident's quality of life.
  • Deputise in the overall management of the care home, including production of reports, budgets, and Quality of Life monitoring.
  • Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others.
  • Ensure the team attends training days and courses to maintain learning records and individual development.

Requirements:

  • A registered nurse with experience of managing a team and ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately.
  • Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
  • Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code.
  • Experienced in working in the healthcare sector.
  • Driven and motivated, with a passion for quality care.
  • An energetic, committed, and approachable manager.
  • An inspiring leader who can motivate teams through obvious passion and commitment.
  • A natural networker with both internal and external stakeholders.
