About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, their visitors, and our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home
  • Carry out a variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks, including laundry, cleaning of bedrooms and communal areas, and restocking of supplies
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure the smooth running of the care home
  • Provide a warm and welcoming environment for our residents and their visitors

Working Arrangements:

This is a Bank position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis to provide cover for annual leave, sick leave, and other absences. Your hours and days of work will vary, but you will have the flexibility to choose when you are available to work.
