Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned ALM Technology Delivery Lead to spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape at CV-Library. As a key member of our team, you will drive innovation and excellence, harnessing technology to revolutionise our digital offerings and ensure unparalleled customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the efficient delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle.
  2. Collaborate with customers and business teams to manage and implement customer trials, proposing technically feasible solutions and effort and timeline expectations.
  3. Work closely with software engineers, quality teams, product managers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle, aligned to the bank's objectives, regulation, and security policies.
  4. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technical projects to prepare the bank for potential challenges.
  5. Manage change requests and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Manage vendor relations involved in technical projects to ensure they deliver according to agreed terms.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry technology trends and technologies, evaluating and adopting new approaches to improve deliver outcomes and fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and growth.

Vice President Expectations

  1. Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
  2. Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
  3. Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
  4. Collaborate with other areas of work for business-aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing projects with medium to high complexity, business critical, and large cross-functional teams within a financial and regulated environment.
  • Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience of working within an agile project team.
  • Adept at breaking requirements down into user stories for implementation.
  • Understanding of Treasury or Finance and general financial markets knowledge.
  • Experience in data analysis/testing.
