Digital Transformation Specialist

At JobsBatch, we're seeking a talented Digital Transformation Specialist to spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape. As an Abinitio Developer, you'll drive innovation and excellence, harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize our digital offerings and deliver unparalleled customer experiences.
Key skills for success in this role include development experience in Ab-Initio, with a full software development lifecycle (SDLC) in Hadoop & Cloud, and a working knowledge of Teradata, Hive, and Impala databases. Additional relevant skills in application design, development, and implementation of DW solutions using Ab Initio are highly valued.
This role will be based in our Northampton office, where you'll collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
As a Digital Transformation Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Cross-functional collaboration to define software requirements and ensure seamless integration with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
- Identification of ways to mitigate risk and development of new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
- Engagement in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources.
