Make a Difference in a Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in Blackwood. As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to pupils with special educational needs, working closely with the teaching staff to ensure a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and general support to pupils with SEN
  • Assist pupils in reaching their potential and achieving their goals
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working or volunteering with children with SEN
  • Proactive work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Good understanding of special educational needs and ability to provide tailored support
  • Patience and understanding attitude, with the ability to work with pupils of varying needs and abilities
