About the Role

As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will join a friendly team in a primary school and provide both one-to-one and general support to pupils with additional needs. Your role will involve assisting pupils in reaching their potential and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to pupils with SEN in the classroom
  • Assist pupils with their learning and development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a positive learning environment
  • Support pupils with their personal and social needs
Requirements
  • Experience working or volunteering with children with SEN
  • Proactive work ethic
  • Good understanding of special educational needs
  • Ability to provide a range of support to pupils
  • Patient and understanding attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team
