SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in Blackwood. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-to-one and general support to pupils with special educational needs, ensuring a positive learning environment and helping them reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to pupils with SEN in the classroom
  • Assist pupils with their learning and development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans for pupils
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Proactive work ethic and good communication skills
  • A good understanding of special educational needs and their impact on learning
  • The ability to work as part of a team and provide a range of support to pupils
